Deer Park Town Center, a Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers, LLC and Developers Diversified Reality Corporation development, opened in October of 2000, on Rand Road, (Route 12) in one of Chicagoland's most prominent suburban corridors, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and 22 miles from O'Hare airport.

This stunning open-air lifestyle center combines a premier line-up of over 60 stores in a meticulously landscaped setting, complete with gazebo, conservation area, and walking path. Not only is Deer Park Town Center great for an extended day of shopping, but also fits the need for quick, run-in shopping trips, because you can park in front of your favorite store, eliminating long walks through mall corridors and football field-length parking lots.

Each Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Center is proud to be active in improving the quality of life in the communities in which they do business. Not only does Deer Park Town Center employ hundreds, and generate over $250,000 in  property and sales taxes, Deer Park Town Center is active with many not-for-profit groups on projects that support worthy local efforts. Some of Deer Park Town Center's larger partnerships have been via fashion shows with The Barrington Area Career Center, The Volunteer Center of Greater Barrington, and William Rainey Harper College. 

Over $14,000 was raised for these local agencies through the fashion show efforts. The Ela Fine Art Show was again hosted at Deer Park Town Center to the benefit of the Cultural Arts Connection, a not-for-profit group that supports the arts in our community.

This year, a fund-raising fashion show partnership with Day of Caring - Breast Cancer Awareness with Good Shepherd Hospital has been added to the fall schedule, as well as a wide-sweeping "Smart Bucks" promotion where participating schools will share a $10,000 cash prize.

We are proud to announce our new NORDIC TRACK Security Bike Patrol.  Through the generosity of our own Nordic Track store, our public safety officers are more visible and can provide better customer service while wheeling through the center on Nordic Track equipment.
